I have made increased learning a lifelong goal and in addition to recently finishing graduate school, have taken online courses throughout the years on research, family history and genealogy (my favorite hobby), photography, ceramics (especially wheel turning), woodworking, media work, literacy and more. I have helped edit a recent trilogy for content, continuity, and flow as well as grammar and structure. My graduate degree is Instructional Technology and Learning Science. This is the study of technology in the path of instruction and the study of how learning occurs. It is fascinating!
My Leadership PhilosophyMy leadership philosophy is built on trust, respect and integrity. I am a leader who believes in service, purpose, and open communication. Leadership is inspiring a group of individuals to achieve extraordinary things; it is about creating an environment that brings out the best in people, accomplishing goals, and making each individual, the team, and organization successful. I encourage and support those I work with to reach them potential by providing challenging and rewarding work.
I believe in Honesty, Respect, Accountability, and Teamwork. |
